- I am the mom of a 22 month old little boy who is the light of my life and a bundle of energy I believe only a scientist can understand. Well, a scientist and a Nascar driver. I am married to a great and kind man, who puts up with my moodiness, but also my creativity. I got the name Shelfer from my then 3 year old niece who could not say my name, Michelle, and called me Shelfer instead. It's stuck and now even my son calls me Shelfer. I have been trying to get pregnant again, but had a miscarriage last year and am praying for a new chance.
